PORTHCWL ANIMAL WELFARE SOCIETY

Sadly, not all of our time is taken up by the more enjoyable side of pet welfare and all too often we are called upon to find homes for animals which are, at best, unwanted or, at worst, the victims of sometimes unimaginable cruelty. Below are some of the animals for which we are currently trying to find loving homes, all of which have been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. 	TREACLE Treacle is an 18 month old Crossbreed and has very little confidence, although once you've gained her trust she laps up fuss and cuddles. Any takers?		STANLEY Stanley is an 8 month old Terrier. Having been abandoned, we know nothing of his background although he's very lively, friendly and good with people and other dogs. Does he sound like your cup of tea?
	JIMMY A 7 year old male Terrier Cross, Jimmy loves to cuddle! He's okay with other dogs although he can be possessive about toys and food. Could you help this ball of fluff?		JESSIE Jessie is a 4/5 year old Terrier Cross who is very friendly with people but not very good with other dogs - particularly females! She would, however, be ideal for a one-pet family!
	STELLA An 11 month old Lurcher Cross, Stella has not been well socialized and is sometimes not sure how to behave around other dogs. She's good with people,but very boisterous. Once she has settled down,she will make a very nice pet!		JAKE Jake is an 8 year old Labrador Cross who has only recently arrived. He doesn't like the kennels as he was used to a very comfortable home! Jake loves fuss and is good with people and other dogs - could you give him back his comfy previous life?
	ALFIE A 6 year old German Shepard, Alfie is a friendly dog,who sometimes forgets his manners! He is good with other dogs and loves to chase balls. He's just had a major operation on his ear and is deaf on the right side. He will need some training,especially walking on a lead.		MAISEY A 1 year old Collie Cross, Maisey is a very energetic dog who loves chasing and retrieving balls! She is very friendly, listens, is keen to please - but a bit insecure with some dogs. Could you help her out?
	LUCY Lucy is a 3 year old Jack Russell Cross who is very good with people - but not so good with some dogs! Beware: Lucy loves to chase rabbits!
