Hello and welcome to our website! For those of you who are new here, Porthcawl Animal Welfare Society (or P.A.W.S. for short) was set up 30 years ago with one purpose in mind: to help make the lives of animals in our area that little bit better. Since its inception, the Society has grown from strength to strength, and, by combining our own fundraising work with sponsorships and donations from the business sector - and, of course, the hard work of P.A.WS. Members themselves -we now have facilities for microchipping, pet vaccination, neutering/spaying, dogwalking and even rehoming animals when the need arises. In addition to its rehoming work, P.A.W.S. also traps and neuters feral cats prior to release into managed colonies – let's just say that it's been a very busy 30 years!
